EXPEDITION LIFE 

This Andean Escape will appeal to those with an adventurous spirit, who want to explore the natural and cultural wonders of the Andes. It is also the perfect taster for those wishing to appreciate the ancient, modern, and natural wonders of Peru and Bolivia. Our route is based on ten years of personal experience travelling and working in South America, as well as on strong relationships with local contacts who give an edge to the Escape no guide book can ever compete with.


ACCOMMODATION
This will range from comfortable rooms in the cities and towns to tented accommodation on the Inca Trail and stone huts on the Bolivian Salt Flats. All accommodation is comfortable and most importantly run by friends and personal contacts of QUEST, that have built up over ten years of successful expeditions throughout the continent.  
 
FOOD AND DRINK
Whilst on the Escape you will get the chance to sample traditional South American cuisine. In general you will be eating at your hotel for breakfast, out and about in town for lunch and in a local restaurant in the evening. 

A DAY IN THE LIFE
One of the beauties of going on an Escape is that no two days are the same. We will usually be getting up early to make the most of the day, taking a long lunch break and making sure we are sitting somewhere comfortable with a stunning view in time for sundowners.

WHO ELSE IS GOING?
Your team will be made up of between 6-12 people and will be lead by an experienced QUEST Leader.

The age of team members will generally range between 22 and 65 and all participants have one thing in common – an enthusiasm to experience the real South America, pack in a range of activites whilst making a positive impact on local communities at the same time.

WEATHER
Due to the range of altitudes, climatic zones and environments you will experience you will need a range of clothing including that suitable for very low temperatures. You are provided with a detailed kit list to ensure that you are suitably prepared. QUEST staff are also on the end of a phone to answer any questions about what to pack and how to pack it.
